THE Challenge
Samsung wanted a fun social play, including audience and channel-specific videos, on how you can use the SmartThings app to control almost anything in your home from the touch of a button. They wanted to convey the ease of use, even for the busiest of people while you're on-the-go.
THE SOLUTION
Who has more going on than Martha Stewart? We leveraged the social trend, "GRWM" or appropriately named for these spots, Get Ready with Martha, to show that you can do so much with SmartThings. From checking what's in your fridge to checking in on your pets, the SmartThings app allows you to multi-task and ultimately makes your life easier.
Using Martha's "It's a Good Thing" phrase,
"Samsung, it's a Smart Thing"
THE Challenge
Samsung wanted to create a visually compelling video ad for Times Square featuring Martha Stewart, expanding on the success of the social media campaign. The challenge was to communicate the wide range of SmartThings app capabilities to the bustling Times Square audience, all without the use of audio or voice-over.
THE SOLUTION
We tapped into the popular 'POV' trend to showcase how even Martha Stewart maximizes the potential of SmartThings. The video transitions through various relatable scenarios, highlighting the app's UI while the SmartThings icon remains animated throughout.

Samsung wanted to reshape the narrative and increase awareness around their ongoing dedication to sustainability efforts.
THE SOLUTION
Using the famed green "chat bubble", we'll show how conversation can restore hope and also lead to action that makes the world a better, more sustainable place to call home.
